The goal of learning and teaching objects is to enable students/trainees to successfully participate in an object-oriented development project.
The workshop will bring together people from industry and academia to discuss approaches to object-oriented education and training. The workshop is open for discussions on all aspects related to the teaching and learning of object technology. Please check the workshop's home page for examples of topics.
The main goal of the workshop is to share teaching and learning experiences in object technology. The workshop participants will identify key problem areas which will be discussed in small working groups. The workshop participants will discuss various aspects of object-oriented education and training from different points of view. We want therefore encourage not only trainers and educators to participate. We are also interested in trainees or students to report on their (learning) experiences. Furthermore we would like to hear what employers or managers want us to teach.
To foster lively discussions all participants are required to submit a "top ten" list of recommendations for successful teaching and/or learning.
We have planned to publish the workshop contributions and the workshop results after the conference.
